In the realm of weaving, the fusion of threads creates attractive constructs from fiber selections, techniques, patterns, and color combinations. In this exhibition you will create a display of complex and beautiful seductions. The appeal will vary for each viewer as there are different makers.

The unprecedented and artful exhibit goes beyond the usual exposition boundaries. Viewers will be able to touch the creation itself, or a sample of it, and will encounter not only a visual sentiment but a unique and educational tactile experience.

Jurors Carol Doran-Khewhok and Sanit Khewhok

We are honored to be selected as jurors for Threads Allure. We look forward to selecting works for the exhibition that will be visually strong and will highlight the diversity of techniques employed by Handweavers' Hui artists. As life long lovers of the textile arts we hope the exhibition will be visually striking, a testament to the abilities of Hui members and a celebration of old and new textile traditions.
